Note: Projects initiated by a commissioning funder are automatically verified so this article is not relevant for most Diamond projects.
As a
security feature, a funder admin or project manager may be required to confirm a project is legitimate by quick reference to its description.
Before verifying a project initiated by a production company, check that your organisation will not be initiating its own version of the same project. This will help to prevent duplication.
Production users and funder project editors are required to request project verification from a funder admin or project manager before survey invitations can be sent.
When a
project verification request is made, the funder is notified and an admin or project manager on the account must verify or reject the project.
To verify a
project
When a
project requires verification, the relevant verifier is notified by email. It is
also listed in their project dashboard as ‘Action
Required’. To verify a project:
- click the
project which requires action.
- click the VERIFY or REJECT button as appropriate.
