If you need to get your project verified

All Diamond broadcasters will initiate projects on your behalf and then invite you to take ownership of them. It is possible to initiate your own projects in the tool, but these would need to be verified by an authorised funder before becoming active. Please do not initiate your own projects in the tool unless your funder explicitly requests it – this helps us prevent duplication.


If your Diamond broadcaster has commissioned a project and asked you to initiate it in Diamond (rather than them), please take the following steps.

Your project needs to be verified by a project funder before any Diamond survey invitations can be sent out to contributors. When you request project verification, the funder will receive an email and notification in the tool asking them to verify the project.

 

Request project verification as soon as you have completed adding the project details. The purpose of this step is just to confirm that the project is recognised by your funder. Project details can be updated later.

 

Only Diamond broadcasters can verify projects.

 

To get a project verified

  1. Nominate one or more funders on the Project Details form.
  2. Click the GET PROJECT VERIFIED button at the top of the form.
  3. A Request Project Verification section appears. Here you nominate which of your funders will verify.




Tips
  1. You must have completed the Project Details form before getting a project verified.
  2. Only one funder will be asked to verify the project.
  3. If your funder has not verified the project after a reasonable period of time, please contact them directly to resolve this.
