Watch the video: Initiating a project · Funder introduction

If your user type is Funder Project Editor, your project needs to be verified before survey invitations can be sent to contributors. Only Project Managers or Admins at commissioning funders can verify projects.

To get a project verified

Each funder has its own internal process for verifying projects. There are two ways to get a project verified – use whichever suits your organisation.

Option 1: assign the project

  1. Complete the project title, project ID, funder Ofcom genre and funder fields on the Project Details form.
  2. Complete the Confidential form.
  3. Assign the project to the production supplier. This automatically verifies the project.

Option 2: request verification from a colleague

  1. Nominate your organisation as the funder on the Project Details form.
  2. Click the GET PROJECT VERIFIED button at the top of the form.
  3. In the Request Project Verification section that appears, nominate your organisation to verify the project.
  4. A colleague who is a Funder Project Manager or Admin will receive an email prompting them to verify the project.

If your colleague has not verified the project after a reasonable period of time, please contact them directly to resolve this.
